Social game firm Zynga has opened its first non-US studio in Bangalore, India.
The FarmVille and Mafia Wars maker is currently seeking computer scientists and engineers for the new location, which will focus on game and infrastructure development.
Online gaming in India is rapidly expanding, according to Zynga, which says that 41 per cent of active internet users played online games in 2008.
With over 81 million internet users, India is expected to become the third largest online market behind China and the US by 2013.
The fourth studio.. and now in another continent.
I wonder where we can find some info on how their products are doing within the social platforms.
I mean.. whats the ROI and main business model of this? Having it structured via “the business model generation” framework by Osterwalder would be a blizz…..
someone? Where can we get info?
I have a friend in zynga.. and will be working for them shortly! Guys.. all the luck!
